Southwestern Hearing executives are heading to Las Vegas to speak with 300 hearing aid business owners about tapping undiscovered opportunities.
Vice President Brian Marino was invited to speak at the Starkey Hearing Summit on Wednesday, January 18 about his Hearing.io program.
On a whim Southwestern Hearing tested Hearing.io on a small scale in St. Louis in 2015, after a smashing success they expanded to all 65 of their Midwest clinics for 2016. Now they hope to bring their innovative programming to Starkey’s national network of hearing healthcare providers.
Marino is excited to be able to share these ideas with fellow hearing industry members “Our passion for thinking outside the box and willingness to give new ideas a try has been monumental for us,” Marino explained. “I’m so proud of the success we’ve had. It’s an honor to be able to share our ideas with others.”
In their 70 years in business Southwestern Hearing has always worked to be innovative. In 2016, the St. Louis Post Dispatch awarded them a New Ideas Distinction for fostering a culture of creative thinking among employees. Of the 2200 companies in the running Southwestern scored the highest in this key category.
